🎉 Our Prof. Svetla Tomova from the Faculty of Philology visited Brusov State University, Yerevan, Armenia (BSU) as part of the Erasmus+ project 2023-1-BG01-KA171-HED-000139633.
During her visit, Prof. Tomova conducted an engaging 8-hour series of classes, captivating over 40 students with topics ranging from “Translation of ethnically tagged persistent word combinations” to “The translator – explorer, creator hero or ruler?” and “Transformational Methodology in translations”. 📝🔍
🎓 The visit also included a wonderful cultural exchange program organized by our hosts. 🌟
🤝 The collaboration between SWU and BSU has been thriving since 2019, enabling over 20 staff and students to explore new linguistic and cultural horizons together.
🤝 Excitingly, within project 2023-1-BG01-KA171-HED-000139633, SWU is set to send 2 more professors and welcome 4 staff from BSU by the end of April, followed by 4 students joining us in September 2024!
