As part of our two-month Erasmus internship mobility, we had the opportunity to work in the Erasmus Coordination unit of South West Neofit Rilski University in Bulgaria. This experience greatly contributed to both our academic and personal development.
Aliye Nur Hatay:
I had the chance to explore Bulgaria, and during my stay, I also improved my language skills. I believe this experience has made a significant contribution to both my career and personal growth. I realized that the Erasmus process has made me a more independent and disciplined person. Throughout this two-month period, we had the opportunity to travel within Bulgaria and to other European countries. Beyond personal development, Erasmus also offered us the chance to connect with different cultures.
Sumeyye Sarici:
Thanks to my two-month internship in Blagoevgrad, I learned the office and technical work of Erasmus and became more involved in the process. Thanks to the help and knowledge of the people in the office, I completed this two-month period without any difficulties in terms of work. Of course, we did not only work during this period. In our free time, we had the opportunity to visit other European countries such as France, Italy, Germany and also different places in Bulgaria. Many thanks for Stanislav and the university for hosting us for 2 months and for providing us with cultural and social benefits.
Rana Pekdemir:
I had many good opportunities during the 2 months I spent at Blagoevgrad, South West University. First of all, in the first week of our arrival, we visited the Rila Monastery, Baba Vanga and the city museum with Stanislav and a group of students. Later, we had a good time in nature while celebrating Sumeyye’s birthday in Bachinovo park in Blagoevgrad. This is a quiet city and you have plenty of time for yourself. During the holiday, I had the opportunity to visit Paris, Milan, Rome, Venice, Brussels and Madrid, which are among the favorite European cities. Overall, it was an experience that I loved so much and improved myself. Thank you South-West University!
