We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for academic staff to participate in the “eTwinning Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and Erasmus+ Staff Week” hosted by Mersin University, taking place 13–15 April 2026 within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA131 Training 2026 Programme.

This international event is designed to:

  • Strengthen cooperation in Initial Teacher Education
  • Promote internationalisation through eTwinning and Erasmus+
  • Support sustainable academic partnerships through knowledge exchange and professional collaboration

Study Abroad Fair

As part of the programme, Mersin University will organise a Study Abroad Fair on their main campus. Participating institutions are invited to showcase authentic or traditional materials—such as a national flag—to engage with students and academic staff and highlight international cooperation.

Workshops & Collaboration

The Staff Week will also feature a dedicated workshop where participants can share experiences, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities for collaboration. The working language of the event is English.

Optional Cultural Tour

Participants will have the opportunity to join an optional two‑day tour to Cappadocia, including a one‑night stay—an excellent chance to experience one of Türkiye’s most iconic cultural landscapes.
