The University for Foreigners of Perugia is proud to announce the organization of its second Erasmus+ Staff Week titled “The DILS-PG Certification as an Opportunity for Training and Professional Development for Teachers of Italian as a Second Language.”
The Staff Week will be held in Perugia, at Palazzo Gallenga, from May 12 to 15, 2025, and will specifically address the following topics:
PARTICIPANTS
A minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 participants are expected. Participation in the training event is free and intended for:
There will also be additional services and activities (lunches, coffee breaks, welcome dinner, and guided tours), which will be optional and free for those with Erasmus+ mobility status.
If the number of applicants exceeds the maximum allowed (20), the selection of admitted candidates will consider the order of arrival of applications, subject to the following precedence criteria, applied in order:
The initiative will only take place if there is a majority of participants who are Erasmus+ STT mobility beneficiaries.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
If the degree was obtained in Italy at public universities, it can be self-certified by the candidate. If the degree was obtained at private institutions in Italy or at institutions (public or private) abroad, a copy of the degree certificate must be attached to the application.
If the experience was gained in Italy or at public institutions (schools and/or universities), it can be self-certified by the candidate.
If the experience was gained at private institutions in Italy or at institutions (public or private) abroad, a service certificate issued by the aforementioned institutions must be attached to the application, specifying that the teacher has taught Italian to foreigners or other foreign languages.
– C1 level Italian language proficiency certificate issued by the following certifying bodies: University for Foreigners of Perugia, University for Foreigners of Siena, University Roma Tre, Dante Alighieri Society;
– C1 level Italian language and culture diploma obtained at the University for Foreigners of Perugia and Siena;
– Upper secondary school diploma obtained in Italy or at Italian schools abroad;
– A first or second level degree in Italian Studies obtained abroad;
– An academic degree obtained in Italy (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, master, specialization course, PhD).
APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE
The application for participation, along with the documentation proving the possession of the access requirements, must be submitted by April 10, 2025.
The application form, signed by the candidate and converted into PDF format, must be sent along with the required documentation proving the possession of the requirements to the following email address: erasmus@unistrapg.it
Only candidates with Erasmus+ mobility status are required to send the Erasmus+ STT Mobility Agreement by April 28, 2025,via email to: erasmus@unistrapg.it
The University for Foreigners of Perugia reserves the right to exclude applications from the aforementioned candidates who have not sent the Mobility Agreement by the indicated deadline.
