Within our Erasmus+ Project “2024-1-BG01-KA171-HED-000227981”, our colleagues Elene Makhatchadze and Natia Verdzadze from Batumi Shota Rustaveli University took part in the conference “The New Idea for Europe – Historical Assessment and Perspectives for the Future”, held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Robert Schuman Declaration.
Elene presented a report titled “The Legacy of the Schuman Declaration: Enlargement and the Geopolitical Future of the European Union.” Natia delivered a report on “The Georgian Tragedy of Kerch.”
The Erasmus+ Programme plays a key role in fostering these academic exchanges. By bringing together students, teachers, and researchers from different countries, it supports the creation of shared knowledge, encourages collaborative research, and opens new horizons for professional and personal growth. Mobility initiatives often lead to long-term partnerships, joint publications, and innovative projects, creating significant spin-offs that benefit universities, communities, and broader international cooperation.
