Welcome to the Erasmus+ Orientation Days at South-West University “Neofit Rilski”! We are excited to kick off the academic journey for our incoming Erasmus+ students with an engaging and informative two-day event on September 25th and 26th, 2023.
Event Highlights:
Day 1 – September 25th, 2023
09.00 – 09.15 – Registration + Welcome Gifts
09.15 – 09.35 – Presentation of the South-West University “Neofit Rilski”
09.35 – 10.00 – Blagoevgrad (cultural places, parks, shopping centers, cinema, theatre, hospital, opera, gym center etc), transportation opportunities (taxi, car, bus etc).
10.00 – 10.30 – Breakfast with traditional Bulgarian banichka and ayran + coffee
10.30– 10.45 – Meet and Greet with our Faculty Coordinators
10.45 – 12.00 – Introduce yourself and your university
12.00 – 12.10 – Sports opportunities at the South-West University “Neofit
Rilski”,
12.10 – 12.15 – Introducing to our University Library
12.15-12.30 – Break
12.30 – 13.00 – Preparing the documents for the student dormitory, Presentation
dedicated to the student dormitory (instructions and guidelines from the head of the
dormitory – Mr. Valentin Neshev)
13.00-14.00 – Lunch in the University Cafeteria
14.00 – 14.30 – Walk around the University Campus
14.30 – 15.00 – Planting a tree in our Erasmus+ forest + group photo
15.00 – 19.00 – Free time
19.00 – 21.30 – Dinner and welcome party at the University Center in Bachinovo Park + Workshop by Mr. Florian ZejewskiS
Day 2 – September 26th, 2023
09.00 – 12.00 – Guided excursion to the Rila Monastery (The bus will depart from the Second student dormitory, located on 85A Slavyanska Street).
12.00 – 13.00 – Lunch in cafeteria
13.30 – 14.30 – Guided visit to the Regional History Museum
